The Givers

We went to the Swing Expo yesterday... there were so many creative and kind people there!!  We were given wonderful novelty buttons for pockets, lace trim, a very cute pillowcase dress pattern, the promise of fabric, the promise of a large bin of doilies, table runners and fun misc. items, the promise of more buttons, and finally the possiblity of posting the word about Dress A Girl Around the World on a National Sewing Site.  Then while we were at the show, Joyce was picking up 30 partial bolts of fabric from a fabric store!!  Then last night someone left 2 bins of misc. items on my front porch!!  There are many people that just need to hear about this project and they want to help.  Such great encouragement!!  Thanks to all!!  And thanks to Barbara for driving to Puyallup in the rain!!

Sounds like a great place and I'm glad this worthwhile project is getting more recognition.

Yes, it was so amazing to see SO much generosity and kindness from strangers who were touched by this ministry! And it was fun to be amongst so many other sewers and so much creativity! Glad you were able to come with me, Suzanne!
